Customer Service Rep -

The Customer Service Rep greets and provides courteous, professional patient centered customer service to all UCFS clients, patients, and visitors, as well as internal customer support for clinical staff including telephone, reception and data entry duties to support medical, dental and/or behavioral health services.

  • Collects and enters data from clients updating demographic and insurance information into the practice management system.
  • Checks client in/out for single/multiple appointments; schedules and books clients for single & multiple appointments with behavioral health, medical and dental providers, inclusive of follow up and initial intake appointment.
  • Operates multi-line telephone system, screening calls, answering and transferring calls, and taking messages utilizing the appropriate systems for screening calls and transcribing messages.
  • Hours evenings 20 hours per week, flexible on the daily hours. Monday & Wednesday nights until 8 p. m. and Tuesday until 6 pm are a must! Other evenings are Thursday until 7 pm and Friday until 5 pm.

The Qualified Candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Medical Office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of clerical and billing operations to include working knowledge of third party payor procedures and practices

    Salary is dependent on experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
