A High School diploma/GED required but a bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field preferred. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year. You also must be able to successfully pass a CORI check and a driving record check. Current DDS Medication Certification preferred
## Job Description
Vinfen CT is hiring for positive, committed people to provide direct care service in the Colchester area, as Relief Counselors.
We are seeking compassionate, caring, dynamic staff to provide services to clients living with developmental disabilities. Using motivational interviewing and a strengths based rehabilitative approach Residential Counselors work with clients to help them evaluate their current life circumstances compared to their hopes, dreams and plans for the future. Residential program staff provide direct support around medication administration and management as well as meal preparation and activities of daily living. The goal for many clients living in group home settings is to be able to successfully transition to back to their community and Residential Counselors assist clients in building the skills needed to do so.
We are currently looking for candidates interested in working weekdays 2nd and 3rd shifts as well as weekends. This position is for per-diem work only. Applicants need to have a flexible schedules with open availability.
Pay Rate: $11.25-11.75 per hour

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
